WHAT IS 3-FREE, 5-FREE & 10-FREE?
In the early 2000's companies begun removing three elements from their formulas due to health concerns raised from prolonged exposure to these chemicals.
The resulting 'Big 3' have been removed from most nail polishes. These are formaldehyde, toluene and DBP (Dibutyl Phthalat).
As time went on and people really started to look at what they put in and on to their bodies companies and suppliers started to remove more and more chemicals.
Thats when the term '5-Free' came in to play as they removed Camphor & TSF resin (Tosylaminde Formaldehyde Resin).
Our base lacquer is also considered 10-Free - which excludes the above plus Xylene, EthylTosylamide, Paraben, Fragrance, or any animal products.
Our glitters, pigments and micas are cosmetic grade, solvent resistant & non toxic.
